Renee Wilkinson-Owusu

"Be patient with yourself and show yourself grace."

Hello! My name is Renee Wilkinson-Owusu and I am a Black female therapist serving individuals, couples, and families across Ontario including Ottawa, Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga, and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

With over 8 years of experience, I have run programs and groups for children, youth and families that target social and emotional well-being and I can support you in the same way. My practice experience is in various settings such as health care centres, schools and community-based agencies. Each space has allowed me to facilitate improved feelings of self-worth and confidence for participants.

I am a therapist that will journey with you through past or present challenges. Supporting you to grow, improve and increase your personal capabilities is my priority. I want you to feel and be your best in the areas you are seeking support. You can expect to be treated with compassion, heard without judgement, and seen for the great potential that you are.

Please consider booking a 15 minute consultation call with me, so you can decide if we should journey together.

Ps. As you search for a therapist match, know that you are doing a wonderful thing for yourself! Good for you!

Fun Facts About Me

In my current season of raising a young family, I enjoy testing different recipes that secretly incorporate veggies! My family and I enjoy exploring in nature, taking in the fresh air and scenery.

Favourite Agapé Lens Value

My favourite Agapé Lens value is compassion. Like my favourite quote I believe showing grace to ourself and others is core to establishing connection and supporting community building. At Agapé Lens, the prioritizing of this value resonates with me as it signals it is a place that sees all our humanness.
