NOW ACCEPTING CLIENTS FOR LOW-COST THERAPY PROGRAM $80/SESSION

Hi, my name is Brittany. I am a Black female therapist and Registered Social Worker (RSW) serving youth and young adults across Ontario including Ottawa, Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga, and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

I am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and bring over 10 years of experience in the social services field. I began working in mental health following my experience in youth engagement and child welfare. That work gave me real, hands-on insight into the continued gaps in quality Black mental health care and redirected me back to my passion for mental health and wellness.

I have supported youth and young adults navigating a range of emotional, relational, and life stressors. Through this, I have come to value walking alongside others as they begin to make sense of their experiences and reconnect with themselves.

My passion for this work is deeply rooted in my lived experience growing up as a child immigrant, where there was limited access to cultural language, understanding, and resources to make sense of my inner experiences and growing identity. This has shaped my commitment to supporting Black mental health and creating spaces where clients feel seen, understood, and grounded in who they are. I believe that natural parts of who we are belong in wellness spaces, and I aim to create a space where clients feel safe to show up fully as themselves.

Fun Facts About Me:

I love reading, nature walks, watching movies from the early 90-2000’s and trying out new restaurants with my family.

Favourite Agapé Lens Value:

My favourite Agapé Lens value is Joy and Happiness. I resonate with it most because it can be both an intimate, personal experience and something that is shared through connection. Even on gloomy days, joy can be an anchor we hold onto. It serves as a reminder that life is worth living and that light can still be found in difficult moments.
